ABOUT Crackers Masala Biscuits RECIPE

Masala Cookies/Khara Biscuit is a simple and easy to make that is flavored with spices, coriander leaves and dried leaves. This is a biscuit that I make very often for my daughter n for family as we love to savor it with our tea.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 &1/2 cup all purpose flour
  2. Salt to taste
  3. 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  4. 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  5. 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  6. 1 tablespoon finely chopped coriander leaves
  7. 1 tablespoon crushed dried curry leaves
  8. 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  9. Oil for deep fry

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients ( all purpose flour, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, sesame seeds, cilantro, dried curry leaves n 2 tablespoons oil) rub all the ingredients well and make dough by adding little by little water.
  2. Take handful portion from dough n roll it thinly. Now cut it in rectangular shape with the help of knife or pizza cutter.
  3. Heat required oil in wok n deep fry all crackers masala biscuits on low high flame.Take out on absorbing paper, cool it on room temperature.
  4. Serve this crispy crackers masala biscuits at teatime.
