a different version of a regular aloo tikki

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 potato
  2. 1 carrot
  3. 1 stem of broccoli
  4. 5-10 spinach leaves
  5. a pinch of turmeric
  6. 2 tbsp of oats
  7. One garlic
  8. Half inch ginger
  9. half tsp of pepper
  10. garam masala or chilly powder as per preference
  11. salt as per taste
  12. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. boil the potato and mash it
  2. chop the spinach leaves, grate the broccoli stem, carrot, ginger and garlic
  3. add mashed potatoes and oats and all the listed powder masalas
  4. mix well and make a dough
  5. make small tikkis and roast on gas with sufficient oil
  6. once they are roasted well on both sides, serve with ketchup or chutney
