ABOUT Choco cinnamon garbanzo RECIPE

The secret ingredient i have used is boiled chickpeas. It is yummy and very easy to prepare and you can easily surprise your guests with these. This dish is a perfect christmas treat as it is combination of choco chips, peanut butter and cinnammon. Its also flourless and eggless. This dish can be eaten as desserts or can also be eaten as a snack.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Chickpeas - 1 cup soaked and drained
  2. Water - 4 cups
  3. Peanut butter - 1/4 cup
  4. Honey/molasses - 5 tablespoon
  5. salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  6. Baking powder - 1/8 teaspoon
  7. Baking salt - 1/8 teaspoon
  8. Vanilla essence - 1 teaspoon
  9. Cinnamon - 1/4 teaspoon
  10. Choco chips - 1/2 cup
  11. Butter - to grease pan

Instructions

  1. Pressure cook the drained chickpeas and water for 25 minutes.
  2. Drain it.
  3. Preheat oven at 200°C.
  4. Grease the pan with butter and line with butter paper.
  5. Add chickpeas, peanut butter, molasses, salt, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and blend.
  6. Add chocochips into the blended mixture.
  7. Mix it.
  8. Add this to the greased pan and smoothen it.
  9. Top with more choco chips ( optional)
  10. Bake at 200°C for 20min.
  11. Remove from oven and serve.
