ABOUT Coconut Lemon Grass Panna Cotta RECIPE

Amazing combination of coconut and lemon grass in Panna Cotta. My secret ingredient is Honey which gives an amazing flavor to the Panna Cotta.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Cream - 300 ml
  2. Coconut Milk - 300 ml
  3. Sugar - 75 g
  4. Lemon Grass - 15 g
  5. Grated Coconut - 25 g
  6. Gelatin Powder - 1 Table Spoon
  7. Secret Ingredient - Honey - 25 ml

Instructions

  1. Churn the lemon grass leaves in the mixer with small amount of coconut milk to improve the extraction. Strain the mixture and keep it aside.
  2. Mix the cream, lemongrass mixture, coconut milk, grated coconut and sugar together. Bring it to boil stirring occasionally.
  3. Add small amount of water to gelatin powder and let it soften. Now melt the gelatin on heat. Stir constantly while melting the powder to avoid burning. When it becomes liquid, it's done.
  4. Add the molten gelatin to the cream mixture.
  5. Now turn off the heat and add the secret ingredient honey and mix it properly. Do not heat the honey.
  6. Pour the mixture into the glasses and keep it in the refrigerator for 4 hours till it sets.
  7. Garnish with dessicated coconut, Lemon zest and Fresh basil leaf.
  8. Enjoy your Panna Cotta!
