ABOUT Corn Chaat Bites RECIPE

An absolutely easy peasy recipe for a perfect snack to munch on in the evenings along with a sip of your favourite hot beverage. It is tangy, spicy and a little sweet too because of corn kernels. These make for a healthy alternative to curb those unstoppable hunger pangs during pregnancy. Healthy way to munching is what i call this as. Happy Snacking !!!!!!

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Corn kernels fresh ones or canned 2 cups
  2. Butter 1 tbsp
  3. Onions chopped 1
  4. Tomatoes chopped 1
  5. Cucumbers chopped 1
  6. Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
  7. Chaat masala 2 tbsp
  8. Green chillies chopped 2
  9. Rock salt 1/2 tsp
  10. Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  11. Salted crackers 2 packs

Instructions

  1. I used fresh corn. So i boiled it with some salt at first.
  2. Then remove the kernels after it cools down. This way it becomes pretty much easier to remove those kernels from the cob.
  3. In a pan, heat butter along with oil and saute these for 2 minutes.
  4. Chop all the veggies.
  5. Add all these to a mixing bowl.
  6. Squeeze some lemon juice and sprinkle chaat masala.
  7. Toss well and you are good to go.
  8. Enjoy this lipsmacking chaat served on your favourite salted crackers.
  9. Munch on to your hearts content.
