ABOUT Palak moong Dal soup for toddlers, pregnant women elderly people RECIPE

This is all time favourite soup in our house as all the members are health conscious except me:joy:. I made this soup to impress them that i am also healthy food eater. It is made up of yellow moong Dal and fresh spinach blended together with some simple homely spices. A dash of lemon juice gives a kick to this simple soup for me. But my kiddo like this simple and have it happily, i am also satisfied that his tummy is full with some healthy food. It is soul satisfying soul and satisfy our our hunger too. It is easily made with simple ingredients so try it for once.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. One cup soaked yellow moong Dal
  2. 1/4 bunch of fresh spinach leaves
  3. Half tbsp turmeric powder
  4. Salt to taste
  5. One tbsp ghee
  6. Pinch of hing
  7. A dash of lime juice ( optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and boil chopped spinach and soaked moong Dal with turmeric powder salt and water in pressure cooker for one whistle. It should be well cooked.
  2. Heat ghee in a tadka pan. Add hing and pour over the boiled spinach Dal.
  3. Mix well and serve hot with dash of lime juice
