ABOUT Vegetable paratha RECIPE

Paratha and mixed veggies give a tasty combination. If kids don't eat veggies ,give it in form of this paratha they will love it.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Palak 200 gms
  2. Cauliflower 100 gms
  3. French beans 100 gms
  4. Onion 1 Medium Size
  5. Potato 1 medium size
  6. Garlic 4 Cloves
  7. Ginger 1 inch
  8. Green chilli 2 pieces
  9. GARAM MASALA 1 TBSP
  10. Salt as required
  11. Wheat flour 2 cups
  12. Rava 2 tbsp
  13. Water for kneading
  14. oil

Instructions

  1. Finely chop the palak, cauliflower, french beans, onion, garlic, ginger and green chilli in a chopper. If you don't have chopper chop palak, cauliflower, french beans, onion finely with a knife and make a paste of ginger garlic and green chilli.
  2. In a bowl grate the potato and add the chopped veges (add the garlic ginger and green chilli paste) and mix well. To this mixture add the wheat flour, rava, salt, garam masala and 1 tsp oil and mix well. Once mixed start kneading it into a dough.
  3. Don't add the water at this stage as the vegetables will loose its own water. Once the dough starts to hold add 1 tbsp water and gently knead the dough to make it soft. The consistency of the dough should be medium. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
  4. Make medium size balls from the dough and roll them into a circle keeping it medium thick. Cook the paratha on a tava using one tsp oil till both sides are slight brown. Serve hot with dahi.
