Chop all vegetables after washing
Wash daal and rice nicely
Heat ghee/oil in a cooker crackle cumin seeds add crushed ginger garlic saute a little.add asafoetida
Add chopped vegetables in it
Add salt and turmeric powder.add daal and rice in it.add water in it(about 2-21/2 times more water then daal and rice.
Close the lid of cooker and take 2 whistles.
Enjoy with lemon pickle.
