Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chop Cube or Rectangular sized Potatoes ( 1 big sized)
  2. Cluster beans ( 10 in number)
  3. Peas( one cup)
  4. Salt 2 tbps
  5. Vangibath powder or Rasam powder 4 Tbps
  6. Hing 1/4 tbps
  7. Cooking oil 4 tbps
  8. Turmeric 1 tbps
  9. Coriander Leaves finely chopped ( handful) - Optional
  10. Mustard seeds for seasoning 1 tbps
  11. Urad Dal for seasoning 1 tbps
  12. Chana Dal for seasoning 1 tbps
  13. Water - 1/4 cup for boiling
  14. Cooked Sonamasuri Rice 1 cup

Instructions

  1. First keep aside the cooked rice or leftover rice aside in a bowl.
  2. Chop the veggies as mentioned in the Ingredients in cube shape or rectangular shape and place the peas to boil in a separate bowl with water.
  3. Now take a Kadai and start with the seasoning items by adding following items and amount as mentioned in the ingredients list above. i.e, oil, mustard seeds, turmeric, urad dal, chana dal, hing .
  4. Now add the chopped veggies and drained peas into the kadai and then mix it well by adding salt and close the lid by adding water for 4 mins.
  5. Now open the lid and add the vangibath powder to the mixture and there you get the mesmerising aroma and please add the cooked rice to it
  6. Mix well and then add coriander for garnishing. Enjoy the meal.
