Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. For spice mix::
  2. 1 stick cinnamon
  3. 2 Cardamom
  4. 3 cloves
  5. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  6. 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  7. For gravy ::
  8. 1 bunch spinach
  9. 150 gram cottage cheese (paneer )
  10. 1 cup tomato (finely chopped )
  11. 1/4 teaspoon ginger paste
  12. 1/4 teaspoon green chilli paste
  13. 1/2 teaspoon dry fenugreek leaves (kasoori methi )
  14. 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
  15. 1 1/2 tablespoon oil
  16. Salt to taste
  17. Butter as needed (for roasting paneer)

Instructions

  1. Roast spices on low flame and grind it into a powder . spice mix is ready.
  2. In pan add some butter and roast paneer cubes.. fry till the paneer cubes are light golden evenly . keep aside.
  3. Wash the spinach and boil it. Do not boil too much. Remove them and put them in cold water, then grind them into a mixer and make paste.
  4. Heat oil in nonstick pan.. add ginger and green chilli paste, add tomatoes and fry till they turn mushy.
  5. Now add spinach puree , garam masala, salt, spice mix masala, cook for 2-3 minutes, add water as needed and Cook until the mixture thickens.
  6. Add dry fenugreek leaves (kasoori methi ) and paneer mix well.
