ABOUT Saffron Bread Rabri RECIPE

Saffron Rabri is a sweet dish made with rabri, bread and saffron strands. This dessert is creamy and super tasty. It is chilled before serving.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Milk 1/2 ltr
  2. Saffron strands 1 tsp
  3. Rock candy 2 tsp
  4. cardamon powder 1 tsp
  5. Bread slices 2
  6. Vanilla flavoured custard powder 1 tsp
  7. Chopped dry nuts 2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Heat milk in a heavy bottom pan.
  2. Once it starts to boil, add saffron strands.
  3. Keep boiling in medium flame till 5 minutes.
  4. Add rock candy.
  5. Take custard powder.
  6. Add custard powder, keep stirring continuously.
  7. When the volume reduces take bread slices by cutting edges.
  8. Add small pieces and cardamom powder, stir once.
  9. Cook for another minute.
  10. Transfer it in a serving bowl, let it be cool.
  11. Store in fridge for minimum 30 minutes.
  12. Decorate with mixed dry nuts (me used pistachio, cashew and almond).
  13. Serve in chill.
