ABOUT Tamator Muttar Fried Rice RECIPE

Tamator or Tomatoes has wealthy nutrients and vitamins like A, C & K and as well as significant amounts of vitamin B6. They are also a good source of potassium, manganese, magnesium, phosphorus, and copper. Muttar or Green Peas are good source of vitamin K, manganese, dietary fiber, vitamin B1 & C. They are also source of vitamin B6 & B2 zinc, protein, magnesium, iron and potassium. By using these two wealthy ingredients in Jai Ki Rasoi Se made "Tamator Muttar Fried Rice"

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Cooked Rice (Pake Huwe Chawal) - 250 Grams
  2. Green Peas (Hare Muttar) -1 Cup
  3. Tomato Puree (Tamator Ka Paste) - 1 Cup
  4. Onion Paste (Pyaz Ka Paste) - 1 Cup
  5. Cumin Seeds (Shah Jeera) - 1 Tea Spoon
  6. Ginger Garlic Paste (Adrak Lasoon Ka Paste) - 1 Table Spoon
  7. Red Chilli Powder (Lal Mirch Powder) - 1 Table Spoon
  8. Turmeric Powder (Haldi Powder) - 1 Tea Spoon
  9. Finely Chopped Coriander (Barik Kata Hara Dhaniya) - 1 Bunch
  10. Finely Chopped Mint (Barik Kata Hara Pudina) - 1 Bunch
  11. Whole spice powder (Garam Masala Powder) - 1 Tea Spoon
  12. Slit Green Chilies (Kati Hari Mirch) - 5 to 6
  13. Oil (Tel) - As Per Requirement
  14. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in frying non-stick pan or kadai, once the oil is hot add the cumin seeds. Cook them till the oil get the flavour.
  2. Now add ginger garlic paste and cook till the water gets evaporated from it
  3. At this stage add green peas and cook for 2 to 3 minutes or till the green peas become soft Add all dry ingredients like red chilli, turmeric and whole spice powder. Mix all the ingredients and cook till the oil get separated from them.
  4. Now add tomato puree and mix it. Season it with salt according to taste. Cook it till oil get separated.
  5. Add finely chopped green coriander & mint leave and Slit green chillies and mix it
  6. Finally add the cooked rice and mix gently. Cover it and cook for 2 more minutes
  7. Now the dish is ready can be served with masala dahi and salad
