Methi leaves are very fresh now these days , the green , fresh methi leaves are very healthy and rich in vitamins and mineras and get easily absorb by the body. But we do not want to eat it in same way always so here is my innovative recipe aloo methi seekh kabab . Very easy to make and can be serve as a starter in any party

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 4 medium sized boiled and mashed potatoes
  2. 50 grams methi leaves
  3. 1 tbsp corn flour
  4. 2 garlic cloves crushed
  5. 1 green chili finely chopped
  6. 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  7. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  8. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  9. 1/2 tsp fennel seeds
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Oil for shallow frying
  12. 4 skewers

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, add boiled and mashed potatoes , green chili, garlic, dry spices and corn flour
  2. Chop the Methi leaves finely and add into potato mixture
  3. Mix all ingredients together to form soft dough
  4. Take a small portion of mixture ,make elongated roll and insert skewer in it , coat with some corn flour
  5. Drizzle some oil on the griddle and shallow fry the Kababs until crisp and golden brown
  6. Serve hot with ketchup
