ABOUT Palak Paneer RECIPE

A North Indian veg menu made of spinach paste and spices along with paneer. Best served with parathas.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups of Palak/spinach leaves, blanched and pureed
  2. oil / butter 6 tsp
  3. 1 cup Paneer cubes
  4. 1 tomato, Chopped
  5. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  6. 1/2 tsp jeera seeds
  7. 2-3 tsp of fresh cream
  8. salt 1/2 tsp
  9. 3-4 green chilies, finely chopped
  10. water 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and temper jeera
  2. Add onions , ginger garlic paste and saute it for 4-5 minutes.
  3. Add chopped tomatoes and spinach puree, saute well for 3-4 min
  4. Add 1/2 cup water, salt, green chilies and stir fried Paneer cubes. Mix well
  5. Boil for 4-5 min, add cream and mix well. Switch off
  6. Serve hot with chapattis or parathas
