Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Wheat flour 1 1/2 cup
  2. Spinach leaves 250 grams.
  3. Moong dal soaked 1/2 cup.
  4. Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  5. Green chili paste 1 tsp OR red chili powder 1 tsp.
  6. Ajwain 1 tsp.
  7. Cumin seeds 1 tsp.
  8. Turmeric 1/2 tsp.
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Oil 2 tbsp
  11. Oil for frying 1 cup.

Instructions

  1. Blend Spinach leaves to smooth puree
  2. Pressure cook Moong daal until tender, cool and blend to smooth paste
  3. Add wheat flour in a big bowl. Add all masalas and mix well.
  4. Add Spinach puree and moong daal paste
  5. Add 2 tsp oil and knead to form smooth dough
  6. Heat oil in a pan. Divide dough into equal portions. Roll out into puris. Cut into triangles
  7. Deep fry until golden brown and crisp. Serve hot
