Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Palak (spinach) 500 grams
  2. Paneer - 250 grams , cubed
  3. Cream 1/2 cup
  4. Oil - 3 tbsp
  5. whole spices:
  6. cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  7. Dry red chili - 2
  8. Cinnamon stick 1
  9. Tej Patta 1
  10. Cloves 2-3
  11. Spice powders:
  12. turmeric powder 1 teaspoon
  13. red chili powder 1/2 teaspoon
  14. coriander powder 1 teaspoon
  15. Garam Masala 1 teaspoon
  16. salt to taste
  17. 2 medium onions , pureed
  18. 1 cup Tomato puree

Instructions

  1. Blanch Spinach and make smooth puree
  2. Heat oil in a wok. Add all whole spices and roast for a minute
  3. Add onion puree. Cook til oil separates.
  4. Add spice powders and mix well
  5. Add tomato puree and cook till oil separates
  6. Add salt and cream. Mix well. Add paneer and gently mix. Cook for 2-3 minutes
  7. Garnish with cream and serve hot with lachha paratha,roti,naan or rice.
