Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Sprouted moong 1 cup
  2. Spinach roughly chopped 1/2 cup
  3. Semolina 1 tablespoon
  4. Gram flour 3 tablespoon
  5. Fruit salt 1 teaspoon
  6. Salt according to the taste
  7. 2-3 green chili, chopped
  8. Oil 1 tablespoon
  9. Asafoetida - pinch
  10. Curry leaves 5-6
  11. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  12. Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  13. Grated coconut - 2 tbsp
  14. Water as required

Instructions

  1. Grind sprouted moong , water spinach and chili make smooth paste
  2. Transfer to a bowl and add semolina, gram flour and mix well
  3. Add fruit salt to the batter and mix well. Pour batter to greased dish
  4. Place dish in steamer
  5. Steam for 15 minutes till dhokla is cooked
  6. Heat oil in small pan, splutter mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Add curry leaves green chili, asafoetida in oil for a second
  7. Pour the tempering and grated coconut over the dhokla
  8. Cool and cut in square shape. Serve with green chutney
