Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1/2 cup grated bitter gourd (karela)
  2. Salt to taste
  3. 3/4 cup of grated carrots
  4. 3/4 cup of boiled green peas ( mashed)
  5. 1/2 cup of grated paneer
  6. 2 teaspoon Chili powder
  7. 2 teaspoon oil
  8. 1/4 cup whole wheat bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Add a little salt to the bitter gourd, mix well and keep it aside 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Squeeze water and keep it aside
  3. Add bitter gourd, carrots in a bowl
  4. Add mashed green peas.
  5. Add paneer and bread crumbs .
  6. Add Chili powder, and salt
  7. Knead well to form smooth dough.
  8. Divide the dough into equal portions, shape each portion into flat round tikkis.
  9. Shallow fry tikkis on both sides until golden brown
  10. Serve hot with tomato sauce.
