ABOUT Spinach Roses RECIPE

An amazingly beautiful snack recipe for the kids this Children's Day. It is my innovative recipe made especially for all the lovely kids out there. It is a bit tedious process but the end result is just awesome. It is made with spinach and though fried, these are still a nutritious option, and even the most fussy kid would also might love to eat them. The presentation afterall does matter a lot.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Spinach small fresh bunches 5 to 6
  2. Gram flour 1 cup
  3. Salt 1 tsp
  4. Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  5. Red chili powder 1 tsp
  6. Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  7. Water 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Make a thick batter mixing all the ingredients except spinach leaves
  2. Arrange the spinach leaves in a line overlapping each other a little.
  3. Next, apply some gram flour mixture to each leaf at the overlapping end to fix them firmly.
  4. Carefully roll the spinach leaves to form rosettes
  5. Secure them up with 1 or 2 toothpicks
  6. Lightly coat rosettes with batter and carefully Deep fry over medium to high flame
  7. Drain excess oil and serve hot
