Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. To make puff pastry dough:
  2. 1 cup all purpose flour
  3. 75 gm butter
  4. Pinch of saffron
  5. 1 tsp Cinnamon powder
  6. 2 tbsp castor sugar
  7. Water 3 tbsp
  8. To make roses:
  9. 1 medium size apple, cut into to very thin slices
  10. 1 tbsp lemon juice
  11. 1 glass water
  12. Other Ingredients:
  13. 40 gm more butter to apply while making roses
  14. 3 tbsp castor sugar
  15. 2 tsp Cinnamon Powder

Instructions

  1. Preparation of dough:
  2. In a small bowl, add saffron, castor sugar and cinnamon powder and keep aside.
  3. Now in another bowl, add butter and whisk it.
  4. Then add all purpose flour, saffron sugar mixture, and required water to make but tight dough.
  5. Apple roses preparation:
  6. In a bowl, add apple slices, sprinkle lemon and water into it and microwave it for 4 mins and let it be at room temperature.( The idea is to soften out the apple slices)
  7. Now roll the dough to make long rectangular sheets and apply butter and sugar cinnamon powder on it.
  8. On half upside put the apple slices side by side to make half way overlapping.
  9. Now fold bottom part of the sheet and apply more butter and sugar cinnamon powder on it.
  10. And roll it gently to make a beautiful rose!
  11. Make other as well.
  12. Baking:
  13. Now put the roses in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 40 to 45 mins or until it turns dark brown.
  14. And serve it this delicious apple roses!
