ABOUT Instant Spinach Besan Cheela RECIPE

Besan palak ka cheela is a very healthy breakfast. If you want to add some health to your regular besan ka cheela. Add some spinach leaves that will not just enhance the nutritional value of your besan ka cheela but will also give it a unique taste. It is a perfect kids recipe that you can try for your fussy eaters.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups gram flour
  2. 250 gm spinach leaves
  3. 10 cloves garlic
  4. 4 green chilies
  5. 1 teaspoon Ajwain
  6. 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  7. oil for drizzle
  8. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Grind and make a smooth paste of spinach leaves along with green chili and garlic cloves.
  2. In a large bowl combine besan salt, red chili and ajwain.
  3. Add ginger, green chili and spinach puree and whisk to form a smooth batter.
  4. Add water as required to form smooth flowing consistency batter
  5. Rest for 10 minutes.
  6. Heat a non-stick pan and drizzle oil , pour ladle of batter in a circular manner and spread evenly
  7. Cook well on both sides until golden brown, adding more oil if necessary.
  8. Serve hot with tomato sauce and green chutney.
