Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup gram flour/besan
  2. 1/2 cup semolina/rawa
  3. 200 gm spinach leaves
  4. Water as required
  5. Curd - 2 tbsp
  6. 1 finely chopped onion
  7. 2 green chili finely chopped
  8. 2-3 cloves garlic finely chopped
  9. 1/2 inch ginger finely chopped
  10. 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
  11. Salt according to taste
  12. 3-4 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add gram flour , semolina, curd and water to form a thick batter. Rest it aside for 10-15 minutes
  2. Ground the spinach leaves and make paste and add to batter. Mix well
  3. Add water if required to have dosa batter consistency
  4. Add chopped onion ,chili ,garlic ,ginger and mix well
  5. Heat a nonstick tawa, spread little oil on tawa and pour laddleful of batter
  6. Spread it evenly on over tawa
  7. Cook for 1-2 minutes on low-medium flame
  8. Now flip the chilla and cook other side. Drizzle little oil over the edges
  9. Cook till chilla gets brown spots
  10. Serve hot with any kind of chutneys or sauce
