ABOUT Kiwi Pedas RECIPE

This melt in mouth sweet is nothing less than a marzipan. The tangy sweet fruit makes a purely divine sweet. I am just loving it.

Ingredients Serving: 5

Kiwi puree - 1 cup
Desiccated coconut - 1/2 cup + additional to garnish
Condensed milk - 200 ml
Desi ghee - 3 tbsp
Cardamon powder - 1/2 tsp
3/4 cup pista slivers to garnish (adjust)

Instructions

Melt ghee in a pan
Roast the desiccated Coconut on low flame for a minute
Add the kiwi puree and cook on low flame for 5 to 7 minutes
Add the cardamon powder and condensed milk, continue cooking on low flame
Cook it well until it leaves the sides of the pan and forms a soft lump
Allow to cool to room temperature
Make small roundels, press with index finger to form a impression, garnish with some desiccated Coconut and slivered pistas
