ABOUT Broccoli Spinach Fritters RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 medium onion,chopped
  2. ½ cup Gram Flour
  3. ½ cup Ragi Flour(Finger Millet Flour)
  4. 1 tbsp Kasoor Methi (Dried Fenugreek Leaves-Herb)
  5. 3 cups processed Broccoli
  6. 1 cup chopped spinach
  7. Salt to taste
  8. 1 tsp chaat masala
  9. 1 tsp red paprika powder
  10. 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  11. ½ tsp Asafoetida powder
  12. 1 tbsp organic coconut oil /Canola oil
  13. For Yoghurt-Cucumber Dip:
  14. 1 ½ cup Greek Yoghurt
  15. 2 tbsp finely chopped pickled cucumber(Slit cucumber in half and dip it in apple cider vinegar overnight)
  16. 1 tbsp finely chopped dill(or mint as per choice)
  17. ¼ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Take grated broccoli in a large bowl.
  2. Add gram flour, Ragi flour, onion, fenugreek leaves, spinach, salt, chaat masala, paprika powder, ginger-garlic paste, asafoetida powder to the broccoli and mix well. Knead dough
  3. Make 8-10 patties with the prepared dough.
  4. Heat oil in a non-stick skillet. Cook the patties/fritters until golden brown on both sides on medium heat.
  5. To make the Yoghurt Cucumber dip, mix chopped cucumber, dill(or mint) and ¼ tsp salt with greek yoghurt and whip nicely.
  6. Serve the Broccoli Spinach Fritters hot with Yogurt Cucumber dip or sauce.
