Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Fresh rohu fish 500 grm
  2. Potato 1 medium
  3. French beans 1/2 cup
  4. Carrots 1/2
  5. Ridge gourd 1 medium
  6. Chopped onion 1 medium
  7. Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  8. Salt as per taste
  9. Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  10. Cumin powder 1 tsp
  11. Green chillies sliced 5-6
  12. Onion seeds 1/2 tsp
  13. Bay leaf 2

Instructions

  1. Marinade the fish pieces with a pinch of salt and turmeric powder.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and lightly fry the fish pieces. Keep aside.
  3. Add bay leaf and onion seeds to the pan.
  4. Add all vegetables a fry a little.
  5. Add chopped onion, ginger garlic paste, cumin powder, green chillies, salt, turmeric powder and sauce for 5 mins in a low flame.
  6. Add water and cover with lid. Let the vegetables boiled.
  7. Add fried fish pieces to it and cook in a very low flame.
  8. Serve with steamed rice.
