ABOUT Beans fry RECIPE

This is a perfect side dish for that soulful lunch with steamed rice and some hot rasam.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Beans - 1 cup
  2. Dry red chillies - 2
  3. Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  4. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  5. Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  6. Grated coconut - 1/4 th cup
  7. Sugar - 1 tsp
  8. Salt
  9. Refined oil

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan with some oil. Add mustard seeds and dry red chillies.
  2. Once they splutter, add the beans (chopped), and give it a stir.
  3. Saute for few seconds and then add turmeric powder, chilly powder and salt.
  4. Cook till almost done. Then add the sugar and stir on a high flame for few seconds.
  5. Finally add the grated coconut and stir for few more seconds. Serve
