Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Yellow Lentils 1/2 cup
  2. Maida 1 cup
  3. Oil 2-3 teaspoon
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Oil for frying
  6. Ingredients for stuffing-
  7. Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Saunf 1/2teaspoon
  9. Garam masala 1/2 teaspoon
  10. Mango powder 1/2 teaspoon
  11. Coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon
  12. Oil 1 teaspoon
  13. Ginger,greenchilli paste 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Soak yellow Lentils for 2 hours and Grind it coarsely.
  2. In a big bowl mix maida,oil and salt and make soft dough with water,cover it and keep aside for few minutes.
  3. In a pan heat oil and crackle cumin seeds and saunf,add ginger and green chilli paste and saute it.
  4. Now add Grind dal in it and stir continuously because it's very sticky at this point.
  5. Add salt,garam masala, coriander powder and mango powder.
  6. When it dries off the gas and let it cool.
  7. Divide it into 6-8 parts.
  8. Make 6-8 balls of dough,roll it with rolling pin, add stuffing and make balls, slightly press it with palm,
  9. Heat oil in kadai and fry khasta in medium hot oil.when these are golden in colour,remove from oil.
  10. Let it cool and store it in aor tight container.
