ABOUT Afghan sabzi RECIPE

A Mediterranean dish.( I had this delicious dish at a Mediterranean restaurant in us, and since then I am in love with this dish, it is healthy as well as tasty, beign an indian I used to make palakh paneer,aaloo palakh,palakh paratha and sometimes spinach soup, I never knew spinach can have such a delicious and healthy look.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Spinach 300 grams
  2. Coriander leaves 1/2 cup
  3. Spring onions 1cup
  4. Garlic minced 2
  5. Cilantro 1/2cup (optional)
  6. Olive oil 2 tablespoons
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Black pepper powder 2 teaspoon
  9. lemon juice 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Take oil in a pan add spring onions and garlic and saute for couple of minutes.
  2. Add spinach, cilantro, coriander,mix well.
  3. Add salt ,pepper and lemon juice And cook for 10 -15 minutes ,until the spinach gets dark and creamy .
  4. Serve hot with pita bread or rice.
  5. So,after trying this dish again and again I have come up with a delicious indian version, you can try that too. Just roast paneer pieces with olive oil and pinch of salt. Mix it with the spinach . Paneer makes this dish more creamy and Indi! :smile:
