Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Moong Dal 1 Cup
  2. Sugar 1 cup
  3. Water 2 cups
  4. Rose essence 1/2 teaspoon
  5. Saffron Strands 10 - 12
  6. Baking soda 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Pure ghee 250 grams
  8. Coconut powder 1/2 cup
  9. Almonds 10 - 12

Instructions

  1. Soak dal for 5 - 6 hours.
  2. In a pan add sugar and water .
  3. Boil it and make 1 thread consistency sugar syrup.
  4. Add rose essence and saffron Strings in it.
  5. Now grind the dal in grinder.
  6. Transfer the dal in a bowl.
  7. Now beat with your hands until dal become fluffy.
  8. Heat the ghee in a kadahi.
  9. Make round shape rasgulla with dal.
  10. Frying well.
  11. Now put in the sugar syrup.
  12. Keep it in sugar syrup for 2 hours.
  13. Now remove from sugar syrup and roll in coconut powder.
  14. Garnish with almonds.
