Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Plain flour 250 grams
  2. Cocoa powder 6-7 tablespoon
  3. Powdered sugar 1 medium bowl
  4. Milk 100 ml
  5. Coffee powder 1 teaspoon
  6. Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
  7. Salted butter 150 grams
  8. Fresh cream 3-4 tablespoon
  9. Butter milk 150-200 ml
  10. Baking powder 1 tablespoon
  11. Baking soda 1/2 tablespoon
  12. Dark chocolate chunks or choco chips 1 medium bowl

Instructions

  1. Sieve plain flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and baking powder...keep it in a mixing bowl...
  2. Mix coffee, vanilla essence into the milk...keep it aside
  3. Take butter in a bowl. Add sugar and beat it till the sugar dissolves and it's becomes aerated...add the fresh cream and beat again for around 30 secs....keep the beater on a low speed
  4. Grease the cake tin also parchment paper at the bottom...keep it ready
  5. Now add this butter mixture into the plain flour mixture...mix it by cutting and folding method....now add the
  6. Pour the butter milk into the mixing bowl...mix it by cutting and folding method....add it in smaller quantities...till u get a flowing consistency just as thick as idli batter..
  7. Add the chocolate pieces and mix it quickly...
  8. Quickly transfer this cake mixture into the cake tin....and bake it in a preheated oven at 180 degree Celsius for 30 to 35 mins..or till the cake is nicely cooked...
  9. U can check with a knife or a toothpick if it comes out clean that means the cake is done....
  10. Enjoy this cake with coffee or as it is....enjoy...
