ABOUT Water chestnut cake with cheese rabdi RECIPE

Cake is made with water chestnut flour. Banana, fresh grated coconut and rose petals gives a nice aroma and different level to this cake. Cream cheese, rabdi and whipped cream makes it rich and tempting.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Dry mixture:
  2. 1/2 cup of water chestnuts flour
  3. 3/4 tsp Baking Powder
  4. Pinch Of Baking Soda
  5. Wet mixture:
  6. 1 ripe banana
  7. 1/4 cup fresh cream
  8. 3 tbsp oil
  9. 1 Tbsp clarified butter
  10. 1/2 Tsp Vanilla essence
  11. 1/4 cup Fresh grated coconut,
  12. 1/4 cup powder sugar
  13. For topping:
  14. 2 tbsp Cream Cheese
  15. 2 tbsp Fresh Cream
  16. 2 tbsp rabdi
  17. 2 tbsp whipped cream
  18. Rose petals, sliced almonds Fresh scraped coconut for garnish

Instructions

  1. Dry ingredients: Take 1/2 cup water chestnut flour in a bowl, add 3/4 Tsp baking powder and pinch of baking soda, and mix well.
  2. Wet ingredients: Take a ripe banana in a bowl and mash it with the fork.
  3. Add 1/4 cup cream, 3 tbsp oil, 1 tbsp clarified butter, 1/2 Tsp vanilla essence, 1/4 cup powder sugar and 1/4 cup fresh scraped coconut in mashed banana. Mix well and keep aside.
  4. Now add the water chestnut flour (dry mixture) into banana mixture. Mix everything together.
  5. Apply oil in the cake mold and dust with water chestnuts flour.
  6. Transfer the cake better in the cake mold. Sprinkle some chopped almonds and rose petals on cake better.
  7. Bake it at 160°C for 15 minutes.
  8. For cheese rabdi: In a bowl add 2 tbsp cream cheese, 2 tbsp fresh cream, 2 tbsp rabdi and 2 tbsp whipped cream, 5- 6 rose petals roughly torn. Mix everything well and keep aside.
  9. Spread the cheese rabdi mixture on cake and enjoy.
