ABOUT Besan masala RECIPE

If you want to have some light meal after so many sweets and heavy food in festive season then try this yummy and spicy liquid besan masala it is just like soup but feel like having light meal

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 tablespoon ghee or butter
  2. 2 tablespoon besan
  3. Whole masala
  4. 1/4 teaspoon asaofoitida
  5. 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  6. 1/2 teaspoon fennal seeds
  7. 1 black cardmom
  8. 2 cloves
  9. 4 black pepper
  10. 1/4 inces of cinemon stick
  11. 3 tomotoes
  12. 1 small piece of ginger
  13. 1 to 2 green chillies
  14. Dry masala
  15. 1/4 teaspoon tumeric /haldi
  16. 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder
  17. 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder
  18. 1/4 teaspoon coriender powder
  19. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  20. 1/4 bowl paneer in cubes
  21. 1 tablespoon butter for topping
  22. 2 glass water

Instructions

  1. First grind to paste tomatoes with ginger and chillies keep it aside .
  2. Heat ghee in a pan
  3. Crackle heeng /asafoitida , jeera /cumin with cloves peppers cardmom and cinemon
  4. Then add besan roast for 2 to 3 minutes till light brown in colour on low flame
  5. Add tomato puree mix and cook till raw smell of tomatoes gone
  6. Add dry masala with salt
  7. Add water and let it cook till 3 to 4 boils on medium flame with stirring add paneer cubes
  8. Off the flame serve with butter
