Crispy Farali pocket stuffed with paneer potato Masala. If you are having cravings for delicious food when you are fasting then this is the recipe you are looking for. It is delicious and easy to make. A healthy substitute for mc donalds veg puff. Enjoy!!!

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cup Sabudana(soak in water 4,5 hour)
  2. 1 cup Rajgira flour(Amaranth)
  3. 2 boiled potatoes
  4. Rock salt as per taste
  5. For stuffing
  6. 2 teaspoon oil
  7. 1/2 Teaspoon cumin seed
  8. 100 gram paneer
  9. 4 boiled potato
  10. 2 green chillies chopped
  11. 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  12. 1 Tb spoon chopped Coriander leaves
  13. 3 curry leaves
  14. 1/2 Tomato chopped(optional)
  15. Rock salt as per taste
  16. Oil for Deep frying

Instructions

  1. Soak 1 cup Sabudana in water for 3 to 4 hours..
  2. After 3 to 4 hours grind sabudana in mixture grinder.
  3. In a bowl mashed the boiled potato and add rajgira flour, sabudana mixture and rock salt.
  4. Mix together all and knead this mixture to make a medium dough.
  5. Heat oil in pan, add cumin seed, curry leaves and copped green chilies.
  6. When cumin seed starts crackling add red chilli powder and Potato cubes.
  7. Add paneer cubes, coriander leaves, chopped tomato, rock salt and stir properly and cook for 2,3 minutes. Stuffing is ready.
  8. Take a small portion of dough. sprinkle some rajgira flour on the platform and make a square roti. You can even make a round roti and cut it in the shape of square
  9. On one side of the roti place paneer potato masala .
  10. Roll it.
  11. Using fork press on the sides of the roti to close it.
  12. Deep fry them on a medium high flame till they turn golden brown in colour from both sides .
  13. Strain the excess oil from a pocket on a tissue paper.
  14. Farali pockets are now ready
