Yummy unique flavour full of antioxidants. A delicacy of Odisha known as Sija Pitha prepared with coconut and jageery. This is the savoury spiced Italian spiced pitha version full of nutrition.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup Rice flour
  2. Salt a pinch
  3. Purple cabbage half cup
  4. cabbage half cup
  5. Bellpepper half cup
  6. Corn half cup
  7. Soya sauce 1tsp
  8. Pepper powder 1

Instructions

  1. First knead the rice flour with lukewarm water to make a dough consistency
  2. Cut the veggies and blanch it in hot water. Keep aside
  3. Next for the filling heat oil in a pan saute the veggies with onion and italian spices.
  4. Saute on low flame. Add spices such as paprika and pepper to get the spicy flavour.
  5. Next now take the dough on the palms form a round ball and fill in the stuffing. Give the shape of a half crescent moon.
  6. Steam it in cooker for 30 mins.
  7. When cool serve hot with schewan chutney.
