ABOUT MUSHROOM PAKODA WITH SPRIG MALACCA SPICE BLEND RECIPE

It's an easy recipe with a twist of taste by adding southwest Asian spices to our Indian cuisine. Could not resist eating more. Must try snack.

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. Button mushrooms 6 numbers
  2. Sprig Malacca spice 2tsp
  3. Bengal gram flour 50gms
  4. Sambhar powder 1tsp
  5. Pepper powder 1/2tsp
  6. Tumeric powder 1/4tsp
  7. Oil for frying
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Water1/4cup

Instructions

  1. Wash mushrooms cleanly and cut into slices.
  2. Add pepper powder to it.
  3. Add half the quantity of sambhar powder ,turmeric powder and salt to taste.
  4. Add 1tsp of Malacca spice to the mushroom on top.
  5. Coat all the powder well on to the mushroom and spread it on a grilling tray.
  6. Grill mushroom for few minutes so that the water content in the mushroom gets evaporated.
  7. Add Bengal gram flour, sambhar powder, asafoetida powder, rest of 1tsp Malacca spice and salt to taste.
  8. Add water to the four mixture and mix well.
  9. Dip each piece of mushroom and fry in medium hot oil.
  10. Fry till golden brown.
  11. Garnish it with fried curry leaves.
