Eggless Kaju Biscuit | Cashew cookies

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1 cup Kaju \ Cashews
  2. 1/2 cup sugar
  3. A pinch of vanilla essence
  4. 4 tbsp warm milk
  5. A pinch of saffron

Instructions

  1. If you store nuts in the fridge, take it out at room temperature. Heat the oven at 180°C. Grind the nuts in a blender till it becomes a coarse powder.
  2. Add saffron to warm milk. Add granulated sugar, essence, saffron milk, spoon by spoon, don't add it all together. Make a dough, roll it or give a cookie shape. Take a baking dish, put the parchment paper on it.
  3. Place the cookies with a little gap. Let it bake. Keep checking, it will burn quickly. Once its nice and brown, take it out.
  4. Enjoy as it is or with a glass of milk.

Hi can almonds be used instead of cashews? If yes, do I need to peel them or just crush eith peel ?
