A tangy Sabji with the combined sourness of curd and tomatoes.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 3 cups sliced ladies finger
  2. 5 tablespoon oil
  3. 1 tablespoon fennel seeds
  4. 1 tablespoon mustard seeds
  5. 1/2 tablespoon Nigella seeds
  6. 1/2 tablespoon fenugreek seeds
  7. 1/4 teaspoon hing
  8. 1 tablespoon chopped Ginger
  9. 1 chopped tomatoes
  10. Salt to taste
  11. 1 cup curd
  12. 1 Teaspoon Chilli Powder
  13. 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  14. 1 tablespoon coriander powder
  15. 1 Tablespoon cumin powder

Instructions

  1. Take a heavy bottom pan.
  2. Heat oil add chopped ladies finger fry for 2 minutes.
  3. Remove in a bowl and keep aside.
  4. Heat the remaining oil in same pan.
  5. Add fenugreek seeds, Mustard seeds, Nigella seeds, fennel seeds, hing and cook for two minutes.
  6. Add ginger cook another one minute.
  7. Add tomatoes, salt cook for 2 minute.
  8. Mix curd, salt, coriander, cumin, chilli powder and salt.
  9. Add this curd mixture in pan.
  10. Lower the heat cook for 2 minutes.
  11. Stiring continuously.
  12. Add the shallow fried ladies finger.
  13. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
