ABOUT Oats Porridge In Honey RECIPE

This is my mother's recipe. If you are looking for some healthy and nutritious dishes for your children, this is an ideal recipe. It is very simple and requires very few and easily available ingredients. Oats being fiber rich supply energy to our kids and boost their immunity. Honey supplies vitamins and minerals and has several medicinal values . Hence this dish may be called as kid-friendly .

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Ghee- 1 tsp
  2. Instant Oats -1/2 cup
  3. Water - 3/4 cup
  4. Milk -1/2 cup
  5. Honey - 1 tbsp (according to your taste)
  6. Almonds and cashews - (5-10 roasted )

Instructions

  1. Add ghee to a saucepan and roast oats for 2 minutes.
  2. Add water and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Now add the milk and cook for another 2 minutes on medium flame.
  4. Once the milk boils, lower the flame and add honey to it. Mix well.
  5. Garnish with nuts. ( I chopped the nuts to avoid choking)
