Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 2 cup white peas
  2. 2 medium size onions chopped
  3. 1 tbs cumin seeds
  4. 1 Tbs ginger and garlic paste
  5. 2 tbs oil
  6. 2 tomatoes chopped
  7. 2 tsp red chilli powder
  8. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  9. 1 tsp cumin powder
  10. 1 tsp coriender powder
  11. 1 tbs kokum powder
  12. 1 tbs chaat Masala powder
  13. 2 tbs green chillies chopped
  14. 1 tsp black salt
  15. Salt to taste
  16. For garnish-
  17. 2 tbs onions chopped
  18. 2 tbs green chatni
  19. 2 tbs red chatni
  20. 2 tbs turmerind chatni
  21. Sev( fry thin chickpea noodles
  22. Some Coriander leaves chopped
  23. 25 puri ,golgappa
  24. 1 cup boil potato pieces

Instructions

  1. Soaked white peas in water 5 to 6 hours or overnight. Wash and drain the peas. In a pressure cooker add 2 glass of water. When water is boiling,add peas. Add salt to taste. Add turmeric powder. Closed the lid and put the whistle on. After 2 whistles turn off the flame.
  2. After cool open the cooker and check if peas cook properly ,if not than closed cooker. Do 1 whistle more.
  3. heat oil in a pan add jeera and onions. Fry few seconds , after add Ginger garlic paste. Add tomatoes and all spices. Add boil peas ,mix easily. Cook more one minute. When ragda bubbling turn off the flame. Cool down 5 minutes.
  4. Fill each Puri potato pieces and white peas gravy. Sprinkle some chopped onions. Generously add the all chatni. Sprinkle coriander leaves. Sprinkle sev. Serve immediately.
