Yummy spicy and sweet honey chilli potato and very crispy and crunchy.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 large potatoes
  2. Salt 2 tablespoon
  3. flour 1 cup
  4. Oil 2 tablespoon
  5. Water 1/2 cup
  6. Oil for Deep frying
  7. Chilli sauce 1/2 cup
  8. Soya sauce 1 tablespoon
  9. water 1/4 cup
  10. cornflour 1 tablespoon
  11. Chilli flakes as per taste
  12. Some sesame seeds
  13. Honey 1 tablespoon
  14. Chopped onion, garlic and green chillies
  15. tomato sauce 2 Tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Wash, peel and cut potatoes in long, thin French fries shape.
  2. Heat enough water in pan and add salt in it. Add the fries and heat for not more than 2 to 3 minutes or untill starch from potatoes come out.
  3. Now strain the water and wash the potato in cold water.
  4. In a bowl mix flour, salt and oil untill form bread crumbs. Divide this mixture in 2 halfs.
  5. Take first half of that mix and add potatoes and mix with hands untill coated nicely.
  6. Take other half of the mixture and mix 1/2 water under form a batter.
  7. Now heat oil for deepfrying. Fri the potatoes for some minutes then take it out and separate if stick together.
  8. Fry them again untill golden brown. Then take it out and soak excess oil on paper towel.
  9. In a fry pan add oil then add chopped onion, garlic, green chillies and stir for a minute.
  10. Now add soya sauce, chilli sauce, tomato sause and stir untill all mixed.
  11. In a cup mix cornflour and 1/4 water and add this mix in pan. Stir and heat the sauce untill reduced to half.
  12. Now switch off the heat and add honey in the sauce and mix.
  13. Now add the fries in the pan and carefully mix it.
  14. Add more honey and chilli flakes on top to add more flavour.
  15. While serving top with sesame seeds to finish the look.
