Honey Chilli Potato

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1 big potato cut lengthwise like finger chips
  2. 2 tbsp red chilli paste + 1 tbsp (extra, if needed)
  3. 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Honey 2 tbsp
  6. Corn flour 2 tbsp
  7. Ginger garlic paste 1/2 tsp
  8. 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
  9. oil for deep frying

Instructions

  1. Boil potatoes for 5 to 10 minutes drain water. Run in cold water again and keep aside
  2. Take a bowl, add potato, cornflour, ketchup, salt, ginger garlic paste, mix well and keep aside
  3. Heat oil in a kadai. Drop potatoes one by one and fry till brown and crisp.
  4. Take another pan add 1 tsp oil. When oil is hot, add chopped garlic and fry till golden brown in colour. Now add red chilli paste and fry till raw smell goes away. Now add tomato ketchup and stir. Add salt and fried potatoes and toss well
  5. At last, add honey and mix well till all potatoes are evenly coated with honey. Chilli potatoes is are ready.
