Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Cauliflower florets - 1 cup
  2. Egg - 1
  3. Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
  4. Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  5. Red Chilly powder - 1 tsp
  6. All Purpose Flour - 3 tbsp
  7. Rice flour/cornflour - 2 tbsp
  8. Salt
  9. Refined oil
  10. For the sauce :
  11. Chilly Sauce - 2 tsp
  12. Red Chilly sauce - 1 tsp
  13. Tomato Ketchup - 2 tbsp
  14. Soy sauce - 1 tsp
  15. Sugar - 1 tbsp
  16. Chopped garlic - 1 tsp
  17. chopped ginger - 1/2 tsp
  18. Chopped green chillies - 2 tsp
  19. Chopped spring onions - 2 tbsp
  20. Salt

Instructions

  1. Whisk the egg and add ginger garlic paste, chilly powder, pepper powder, salt, maida and rice flour/cornflour to it.
  2. Now add the caulifower florets to it and let it marinate for 30 minutes.
  3. Deep fry these florets in hot oil and keep aside.
  4. Now heat another wok with some oil. Add the chopped garlic, ginger and green chillies.
  5. Saute it till they smell and then all the sauces mentioned and stir.
  6. Add sugar, salt and about 2 tbsp of water and boil the sauce on a high flame for few seconds.
  7. Then add the fried cauliflower florets, give it a stir.
  8. Sprinkle the chopped spring onions on top and serve.
