I have tried too to create a mouth watering very healthy sub/sandwich for the party that may be repeated but guests will never feel bored,including children.This recipe is a simple fusion of the common sandwiches we get everyday in the continental fastfood stores but with the twist of Thai flavors in it and more important a healthy portion of fresh fish is used to take care of your daily protein intake.So what are you waiting for ,serve these subs as a healthy party recipe to win the hearts of people who are in love with healthy lifestyle.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 200 grams Cod
  2. 3 Orange segments
  3. 2 garlic pods
  4. A stalk of Lemongrass
  5. 2 inch ginger
  6. 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  7. 3 Basil leaves chopped
  8. 1/2 Onion chopped
  9. 1 teaspoon soya sauce
  10. Few thin cuts of Yellow and Green Bell Pepper
  11. 1 Red chilly chopped
  12. Few coriander leaves
  13. 2 teaspoon mayonnaise
  14. 2 long Sausage bread loaf
  15. 2 kafir lime leaves
  16. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. To begin with making the fish sub first clean and dry the fillet and marinate with salt.
  2. Heat the steamer with water and add to it orange,garlic,lemongrass,ginger,sesame oil.
  3. Brush the steamer rack with oil and lay the lime leaves.Place the fish fillet on leaves and steam for 7 minutes until cooked.Remove it.
  4. Take a medium bowl and shred the fish into flakes with a fork.
  5. Slowly add and toss with rest of the ingredients.Refrigerate it.
  6. Use half of the fish mixture each, to stuff the inbetween of two breads that is semi sliced in half.
  7. Serve the fish subs cold with French fries and Healthy drinks when its time to serve the guests in your party.
