ABOUT Cheesy Wild Mushroom Sub-Sandwich RECIPE

Oat whole wheat bread loaf loaded with Wild Mushroom and Green Salad. A very healthy Sandwich which completely fits into your breakfast or snack menu.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 Big Sub Loaf
  2. Wild Mushrooms 200 gm
  3. Olive oil 1 tbsp
  4. onion 1 big
  5. English Cucumber 1
  6. Lettuce 4 leaves
  7. Capsicum 1 small
  8. Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  9. Pepper 1 tsp
  10. Mayonnaise 2 tbsp
  11. Cheese Slices 4
  12. Tomato sauce 1 tbsp (optional)
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Make the big loaf into half for two sandwiches, then cut the half horizontally into two pieces.
  2. Place 2 Cheese slices in between and grill it for 2-3 minutes in a Sandwich maker or Microwave till the cheese melts a little.
  3. For Salad : Slice the Onion and mix it with Lemon juice, sprinkle pepper on it.
  4. Slice Capsicum and Cucumber but cut Lettuce leaf into 3-4 pieces according to its size.
  5. For Stuffing : Wash Wild Mushrooms in Turmeric water, nicely squeeze it out. Chop Mushrooms.To a Non stick pan add 1 tbsp Olive oil. Add chopped Mushrooms to it and stir fry it. When remaining water completely evaporated from Mushrooms, add pepper and salt to it.
  6. Mix it well and fry it for another 1 min.
  7. Dressing: Place Veggie salad and Mushroom Stuffing on loaf slice, dress it with Mayonnaise, Tomato sauce(optional) and few Lettuce baby leaves.
