ABOUT Crunchy Salad Shots RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. For Nacho Chips:1/2cup maize flour.
  2. 1/4cup Maida.
  3. Salt to taste.
  4. 1 tablespoon -vegetable oil.
  5. 1/2teaspoon oregano.
  6. 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder.
  7. Oil fir frying.
  8. For Salad:1/2- green capsicum (sliced)
  9. 1/2-red bell pepper (sliced)
  10. 1/2 -yellow bell pepper (sliced)
  11. 1/2 cucumber (remove the seeds and slice in strips)
  12. 1/2cup -lettuce leaves.
  13. 3 tablespoons -hung curd
  14. 1 tablespoon- fresh cream(optional)
  15. 1/4 teaspoon- salt.
  16. 2 tablespoons -red chilli sauce.

Instructions

  1. For Nacho Chips:Mix maize flour,maida,salt,oil oregano and red chilli powder.
  2. Knead this into a soft dough with water.
  3. Cover and set aside for half an hour.
  4. Make small balls from the dough and roll into thin chapattis.
  5. Cut each chapatti into eight pieces just like pizza slices.
  6. Deep fry on medium heat till golden in colour.
  7. Store in air tight container.
  8. For Salad:Make the dressing by mixing hung curds,salt,red chilli sauce and fresh cream.
  9. Mix the vegetables in the dressing .
  10. Line the base of shot glasses with some crushed nacho chips.Top it with the vegetables.
  11. Top this with crushed nacho chips.
