ABOUT Veg salt and pepper RECIPE

Veg salt and pepper is a Chinese receipe. Delicious, crisp veggies salt and pepper, just as good as your favorite. Chinese takeaway :blush: you can serve this as a party starter.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Baby corn 10-12
  2. Carrot 1
  3. Beans 10-15
  4. Broccoli 4-5 pcs
  5. Chopped Yellow Bell pepper 1
  6. Chopped Red bell pepper 1
  7. Chopped Green bell pepper 1
  8. Buttom Mushrooms 7-8
  9. Green chillies 3-4
  10. Chopped onion 1
  11. Cornflour 2 tbsp
  12. Rice flour 1 tbsp
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Black peppercorns 1/2 tsp
  15. soya sauce 1 tsp
  16. vinegar 1 tsp
  17. Ajinomoto 1/2 tsp
  18. For lemon dressing :
  19. Olive oil 2 tbsp
  20. Lemon juice 1.5 tbsp
  21. Minced garlic 1 tsp
  22. Salt to taste
  23. Sumac powder

Instructions

  1. Dry Roast peppercorns in a wok and grind them coarsely and keep aside.
  2. Make lemon dressing : Take a bowl add olive oil, lemon juice, bit chopped garlic, salt and sumac powder. Your lemon dressing is ready. Keep it aside.
  3. Cut all the veggies like mushrooms, babycorn, carrot beans and wash them.
  4. Now Sprinkle rice flour and corn flour, salt (coat them well) and deep fry all the veggies & make them crisp.
  5. Now heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan add chopped onions and saute till pinkish, now add green chillies, bell pepper saute for 3-4 mins
  6. Add salt, vinegar, soya sauce, ajinomoto, grinded black pepper and stir.
  7. Now add fried crisp veggies in the masala and toss. Switch off the flame & add lemon dressing in it.
  8. Sprinkle Coriander leaves. Serve as a starter or as a appetizer.
