Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. For Bedmi:
  2. 2 cups wheat flour
  3. 1 tbsp Sooji
  4. 1 cup urad dal dhuli
  5. 1/2 tsp Asafetida powder
  6. 1/2 tspn Cumin powder
  7. 1tsp red chilli powder (hot as per choice)
  8. Salt to taste
  9. 1 tbsp oil
  10. Oil for frying
  11. For aaloo Ka Saag :
  12. 4 medium potatoes
  13. 3 big tomatoes
  14. Some curry leaves
  15. 1 tbsp ginger paste
  16. Salt to taste
  17. 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  18. 1 tsp red chilli powder kashmiri
  19. 1 tsp whole cumin
  20. 1 tsp corriander powder
  21. 1 tbsp pure ghee
  22. Some coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. Soak urad dal for at least half hour and grind little coarse
  2. Mix rava in the wheat flour
  3. Add salt ,red chilli and aesofetida .
  4. Now add the ground dal to the flour with some oil and rub all well.
  5. Make a dough then using some water and rest dough for 15-20 minutes
  6. Now put oil to heat for frying
  7. Cut small portion of dough.
  8. Start rolling into poori size and frying in Hot oil
  9. Roll all pooris and fry golden
  10. For Aaloo ka Saag:
  11. Boil potatoes
  12. Mash well keep aside
  13. Grind or Grate Tomatoes
  14. Heat Ghee ,add curry leaves, whole Cumins. splutter
  15. Add ginger paste ,salt chilli powder and turmeric powder
  16. Add grated tomatoes now.
  17. Saute on slow 5 minutes and add Potatoes mash .
  18. Add a cup of water mix well
  19. Cook , boiling 10 minutes on medium
