Perfect use of leftover bread. Very easy and quick recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Bread pieces 4 or leftover bread pieces 2 cups
  2. Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  3. Tomato 1 finely chopped
  4. Onion 1 finely chopped
  5. Green chilly 2 finely chopped and 1 for garnish
  6. Turmeric Powder 1/4 tsp
  7. Garam Masala powder 1/4 tsp
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Lemon 1/2 tsp
  10. Oil 1 tbsp
  11. Curry leaves 6-8

Instructions

  1. Take a pan and add oil.
  2. When oil heats add cumin seeds let them crackle.
  3. Add curry leaves and saute
  4. Add tomato , onion and green chilly. Saute till it is cooked.
  5. Add bread pieces and turmeric powder and garam masala .Mix nicely.
  6. Add salt and lemon juice. Mix well .
  7. Yummy bread poha is ready.
  8. Garnish with lemon pieces, green chilly and curry leaves.
