ABOUT Bread dhokla. RECIPE

Bread dhokla stuffed with paneer. Light and yummy breakfast.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For stuffing
  2. 1/2 cup grated cottage cheese(paneer)
  3. 2 tbsp chopped onion
  4. 2 tbsp chopped tomatoes
  5. 2 tbsp chopped capsicum
  6. 2 tbsp sweet corn
  7. 1/2 tbsp chopped green chilli
  8. Salt to taste
  9. For Dhokla
  10. 1 cup gramflour/besan
  11. 1/2 cup curd
  12. 1/2 tsp Salt
  13. 1 tsp sugar
  14. 1 pouch Eno(lemon flavour)
  15. 1 Lemon
  16. Water as required
  17. 4 bread slices without borders
  18. 1 tbsp Oil
  19. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  20. Some curry leaves

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients of stuffing and keep aside.
  2. Mix all the ingredients of dhokla in a separate bowl except eno and keep aside.
  3. Grease 4 small microwaveble bowls with few drops of oil.
  4. Place 1 bread slice in each bowl.
  5. Place some stuffing over these bread slices.
  6. Mix eno in dhokla batter.
  7. Cover the bread and stuffing with this batter.
  8. Tap 2-3 times to make it even.
  9. Microwave for 2 minutes.( place one cup water in microwave with these bowls.)
  10. Check with toothpick or sharp knife, if it is cooked take out and let it rest for 5-6 minutes and then transfer to another plate and cut in half.
  11. Heat some oil in a pan and add 1 tsp mustard seeds and curry leaves in it.
  12. Put this over the dhokla and serve with some sweet and tangy sauce.
