Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Potato 2 medium, boiled and grated
  2. All purpose flour 1 cup
  3. Green chillies 3 strips, finely chopped
  4. Garlic 3 cloves, paste
  5. Ginger 11 g, paste
  6. RED CHILLI POWDER 1 TBSP
  7. Salt 2 tsp
  8. Amchur powder 1 tbsp
  9. Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  10. Coriander leaves ¼ cup
  11. Water to knead the dough
  12. Butter or veg. oil to smear the parathas

Instructions

  1. Boil potatoes in water until soft and when it cool, peel off the cover and mash it.
  2. In a bowl, add flour and some salt and mix well, knead into a medium soft dough using water and keep the dough covered while you prepare the stuffing.
  3. In a bowl add mashed potatoes, chopped chillies, red chilli powder, salt, amchur powder, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, and coriander leaves and all spices and mix well.
  4. Now divide the dough and stuffing into equal balls, roll out a ball into 4 to 5 inch diameter circle and place a potato stuffing in the middle.
  5. Bring the edges towards the centre of the circle, close the ball and seal it tight.
  6. Dust the floor with flour and roll out stuffed dough ball into 6 to 8 inch diameter circle.
  7. Heat a tava and place the rolled paratha onto the hot tava and cook on both sides, using a little oil / ghee until it becomes golden brown.
  8. Here, Healthy, tasty Dhaba style aloo paratha is ready to serve, serve hot with pickle or with curd.
